Synthesising twelve interviews by hand takes days. AI can take a first pass in minutes, if you keep it honest.
A first pass
We give the tool anonymised notes and ask for themes with direct quotes as evidence. Themes without quotes get thrown out.
Checking the work
We compare the AI’s themes with a manual pass on three interviews and look at what it missed: the hesitations, the contradictions and the one person who disagreed with everyone.
