Auto layout is the most useful feature in Figma and the one people avoid the longest. Once it clicks, you stop nudging things by hand.
Start with a button
A button is text with padding. We build one with auto layout and watch it grow when the label changes.
Stack it up
Buttons go into rows, rows into cards, cards into a screen. By the end of the lesson the whole booking form resizes from a phone to a tablet without a single manual fix.
